Project 3: Channel Ident

Here is my moodboard for this project including the storyboard.

As I planned to showcasing different flavours of Bundaberg from different direction, I decided to move the packaging tag according to the direction so it looked nicer, For example, if blood orange flavouir is coming from left side, then I move the packaging to the right side.

Also, I realised some of the pictures are a bit dull and lack of saturation, I have ediuted some of them in Adobe Photoshop to ensure all of them are the same tone.

Other than that, I want to addressing different feeling for different flavours, so I decided to make a text coming out with each of the flavour of Bundaberg. As I want to make it 3D so I have made them in Adobe Illustrator.

Moving on, I have proceeded to the animating stage, this time is a bit similar to previous project as I just making them coming out from the side but this time I have made a little changes. I have slowed down the part which the fruits and the bottles and texts are coming out so that the audience could focus more on this part.

Moreover, Mr Fauzi has given me a suggestion before which he suggested at the start, I could make the bottle rolled and zoom it to the image and transitioned to the sunlight scene. So, I have cutted out the middle part of the bottle in order to zoom in to the next scene.

In order to proceed to the last two scenes, instead of the leaves transition, I have think of water splash transitions as more than half of the video it is under the water scene. I have searched for tutorial and I have made it by adjust the inner shadow of the water splash.

Lastly, I have searched for the Internet to looked for a BGM that suits this video and I have made some minor changes so it could fit the duration of the video. I have also added some sfxs likde the whoosh sound and water splash sound.

Reflection

This project was not as hard as I thought hahaha I think because we already have what we need in the previous project, we just need to add additional detaoil like products and more transition. 

I actually quite enjoy doing this project because I really this brand and After Effects is not that hard to use! It is easy to learn and beginner friendly hahaha. Although like this but I really scared of the last project as I don't really think I am capable of doing it. I have no idea what I am going to do exspecially after seeing excellent videos from seniors. Wish nme luck!
